Tap words to instantly look them up in a dictionary, using the iOS built-in dictionaries*, or online dictionaries as a fallback.
* These must be installed via Settings > Dictionaries.
Each word you define will be added to a frequency-sorted vocabulary list for future reference, and can be exported to CSV format (e.g. for use in Spaced Repetition Systems such as Anki).
Tap to speak
Tap words to use iPhone's text-to-speech function to speak them. 37 different voices, covering 24 languages (with multiple accents and dialects) are available as detailed in the next section.
